Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using OreoLink's platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using OreoLink ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance of the changes.

2. Description of Service

OreoLink provides a social pre-order platform that connects merchants with buyers. Merchants create product listings (campaigns) which they share via social media and messaging apps. Buyers place orders and pay through the Platform. OreoLink acts as a payment facilitator only and is not a party to any sale between merchant and buyer.

3. Merchant Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate product descriptions, prices, and images.
  • Fulfill orders within a reasonable timeframe after payment confirmation.
  • Maintain sufficient inventory for active campaigns.
  • Respond to buyer inquiries promptly.
  • Comply with all applicable laws regarding the products sold.

4. Buyer Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate contact and delivery information.
  • Ensure you have the legal right to use the payment method provided.
  • Understand that orders are between you and the merchant; OreoLink facilitates payment only.
  • Contact the merchant directly for order-related issues such as delivery or product concerns.

5. Fees & Payment

A service fee (currently 3% of the order total) is added to each buyer's order. This fee covers payment processing costs, platform infrastructure, and operational expenses. All payments are processed securely through Paystack. OreoLink does not handle cash transactions.

6. Refunds & Disputes

All refunds and order disputes are handled directly between the buyer and the merchant. OreoLink is not responsible for the quality, delivery, or condition of products sold through the Platform. If you are unable to resolve an issue with a merchant, you may contact our support team for assistance.

7. Prohibited Items

Merchants may not list or sell items that violate any applicable law, including but not limited to: illegal drugs, weapons, counterfeit goods, stolen property, or any item that infringes on third-party rights. Violation will result in immediate account suspension.

8. Limitation of Liability

OreoLink is provided "as is" without any warranty, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, OreoLink shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through the courts of Ghana.
